#03 Heirloom Organic Vegetable Garden: Starting to Plant the seeds

It’s Sunday morning and it had rained the night before, we have had to wait till around noon to start, so the soil had a chance to dry out some so we could work the soil and plant our heirloom seeds. We are planting today heirloom seeds from 3 different Canadian companies we found on the web, Heritage Harvest Seeds, The Cottage Gardner and Incredible Seeds from Nova Scotia. Incredible Seeds had the largest selection of Heirloom Organic seeds and they were great to deal with, there was a delay with our PayPal payment to them and they gave us about 5 or 6 packs of FREE seeds to try. Absolutely no GMO or Hybrid here and every strain we are planting today are over 100 years old, some are actually strains that our ancestors brought over from Europe in the 1800′s when they settled our country. By the way I raked another full wheel barrow load of rocks up getting ready to lay out the seeds, the rocks just don’t stop!
