  2. In case you are wondering. The lady in the video is my wife :)
The balcony is our own in our flat. She wished to make a green space that
is also useful and nice to look at. So we went for it and this is the
    result.
    Cheers David.

  3. Ok. What do you recommend with planting tomatoes in a container in an area
where it is extreamly hot? I live near the Sun, so do I use the same
compost method and add four inches of straw/ dry grass clipings a saucer in
the bottom with water and put them in partial shade? Or do I just stick to
    potting soil?

  4. Thyme is a wonderful creeping herb, I’ve grown it in containers and in the
ground. My ground thyme is incredible! No maintenance,it is 4 years old and
has never been more beautiful.. Also, lemongrass is a wonderful container
    herb. :) )

  5. You have a beautiful balcony there! I also have many different herbs in
pots. Occasionally I have tomatoes and potatoes growing in the compost I
use for those pots. I will put my compost at the bottom of the store-bought
soil like you said. By the way, here’s a picture of the growing nasturtium
flowers you have sent me. :) Thank you very much. They are a nice addition
    to salads. http://oi59.tinypic.com/10paxpz.jpg

  6. Very nice! <3

  7. One good variety of basil that i have in my garden is called spicy bush
basil. It has tiny leaves but intensely flavored. They are perfect for pots
because when it grows it becomes a big roung bush (30cm or more).
And a tip that my grandpa told me.When they get quite big (10cm) but a the
pot plate (as deep as ypu can find) under the pot and fill it with
water. You’ll see that the plant will absorb all the water in just 5-6 hours
especially in very hot days and this way the plant stays all day
hydrated.Υou don’t need to water it from above. You will see how quick it
    will grow.

  8. You two are adorable! You patio looks lovely with all those beautiful pots :)
