Corn: Starting Corn From Seed Indoors for a Winter or Spring Garden

Yes, I am growing this corn in september. I started it off in a dish of water to activate the corn and speed up the germinating process. Now it’s time to pot…

Just saw the corn video, very nice!
I am trying to grow some heirloom Incan black corn so I can get seeds and
expand my seed library and share them with people who are serious about
gardening. I have a rather larg variety of seeds but its still verry small
compared to what I want it to be one day.

Thanks for the comment by the way !

  2. Can you grow corn from a regular can of corn you purchase at a store ?

  3. Very nice Scarlet! great show!

  4. How interesting. Would love to see this in Winter.

  5. Good video, I wouldn’t have thought to grow corn as a structural plant in
the garden, good idea Thanks scarlet.

  6. Great video, I used cfl bulbs for a long time to start seeds until I
watched this investigational YouTube video on them. Toxic Lights CFL
energy saving lightbulbs, toxic chemicals and the need to see daylight.
Led grow lights are non toxic last much longer and getting much cheaper on

  7. nice idea :-)

  12. I’ve been watching a few of your videos this morning, Scarlet, and they and
you are quickly growing on me. Good stuff. You wouldn’t use popcorn if
this was corn you were going to eat, would you?

  13. It has been proven that 39% fewer commercials keep people from turning away
    from these videos.

  14. Another great video Scarlett! It is good to know that you are using organic
seeds in your garden. I have used Christmas lights around plants and fruit
trees to help protect them from frost in the past. It is pretty and worked
for me.(-: I’m not sure if it will work in Germany or not but you may want
to experiment…I look forward to your next video!
