They were so fortunate to not have to take down their garden. We have
people in, Orlando, who grew beautiful vegetable gardens in their front
yards, too, but were forced to tear them up and plant a lawn. Terrible.

Your garden is beautiful — you have inspired me to start going in my front
yard. Like you we do not get enough sun. Merci pour le partage.
    Cheers Patrick

  6. The last thing the elite want is the regular folk growing their own food,
becoming educated and freeing themselves from the diseased grip of the
    industrialized food system.

    be aware

  13. a great idea…unfortunately…property values and neighbourhoods often do
not permit this in a front yard…regardless of the good intent…you may
get away with it if arranged in a typical garden look…
Many cities forbid this…for now…as many end up derelict and
disrepaired…But I think it is a great idea…I am all for it.

  14. Wonderful video and terrific story-from start to finish. Thank you!

  15. How wonderful your garden looks and that the city had some sense! I, too,
have my garden in the front because of better sun exposure. Good luck with
this year’s garden and enjoy the fruits of your labors and your land.

  16. That is so Awesome!!

  22. I wonder what sad person actually went through the trouble of filing a
    complaint about their garden.

  23. its sad that people have to fight the city to plant food in their own
property and its sad to have people complain about it… urban gardening
should be something everyone does and not be something new that everyone is
    in awe of

  24. Thankyou for this video,it opens up my eyes.

  25. Beautiful garden. Well done for defying the authorities with their
    senseless regulations.
