  4. Ferry Morse…not Ferry Morris

  5. I would buy HEIRLOOM seeds….I wouldn’t trust “organic” on the tag. Most of these seeds this guy shows are modified seeds that I see at other stores (same package and “organic” bullshit title)

  6. So basically this is nothing more than an ad for your seed company.

  7. Is your seed company owned by Monsanto ?

Cool tip from the Square foot gardening book is to just cut the second seedling with scissors instead of pulling it so as to not disturb the roots of the one you want to keep; great video again John, wish I was in the USA to get seeds :P

John I live in New Jersey and I’m saving seeds to plant them in Puerto Rico where I have land I like to grow corn watermelon cabbage onions ‘

  20. Personally I really dislike the peat pellets. In my climate the thin little netting around the peat doesn’t decompose and ends up constricting the roots over the growing season. I have tried them multiple seasons and in multiple gardens and greenhouses and they never work!
Do other people experience this in your climate too?

Using those little domes over seed starting trays on the other hand have worked wonders for me! And heating pads have helped some

  21. how much is that heating mat ? and where did you purchase it ? i put my seeds in a ziplock bag and open them to mist them , have had good luck so far with that too .thanks for the info!

  22. Hey John, I’ve been told that there are no more heirloom corn seeds. Is that true?

  23. WISH, Baker Creek would work a deal with you!

  24. how does this work, i just caught wind of this video today? can you hook me up please?
