Reminds me the same kind of song he used to write in the 80′s…like
“Stranger than kindness”…Love it !!! Haunted, dark, the Bad Seeds at
their best, please, Blixa, comme back to play again with Nick…

  3. this is so well done , so haunting…..the song, the video…. simply

  4. i like this guitar sound

  5. The shadow of Neil Diamond renders the fat from Americana. The emigres
generally do it better than their contemporaries.

  6. He predicted Miley Cyrus’ trainwreck, eh?

  7. Not a clue what this song is about

  8. Love all of his works but this is breathtaking in its completeness, a
    hymne. Big sensational music

  9. how surprising Nick has cried at the very part I did, too

    A mummified cat…

  11. Like Warren Zevon through a snake’s digestive system. Beautiful.

  12. reminds me of a modern day Leonard Cohen

  13. In a language that’s called, believing in you… can you feel my heart
beat? What a song, and what a performance!

  14. Best song of 2013.

  15. Nick Cave is so tormented, I guess that’s why he creates such beautiful

  16. He’s surely in the running for a Nobel after this.

  17. Oncore! Followed by a Universe from Nothing Gearage Rock.

  18. Amazing! Found this on Spotify and naturally my eye was drawn to “Higgs
Boson Blues”! This song is so deep. Most people don’t even have a clue…

  19. Nine minutes and fifteen seconds. God, how times flies listening to this,

  20. This is one of those songs where one listens to it and wonders what drugs
nick was on when he wrote it.

  21. He is Blue… Just like heaven.

  22. The last time I saw Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, was back in the mid-90s. He
and his band came to my town for a gig, they all stayed at the hotel I was
working in at the time (apprenticing actually – I didn’t continue in that
line of work afterwards) anyway at one point Nick decided to go for a walk,
as it was very hot, he came to the reception desk, handed me his jacket and
left. But I couldn’t find a decent place to store it. He apparently watched
all the kerfuffle going on from just outside of the hotel, walked back in
and asked me to hand it back to him. Then he left for his walk. I remember
him being very tall (around 6ft 2in) and dressed in black with a white
shirt – if I remember correctly. He was still a relatively young guy back
then (as was I) so I’m a little shocked to see how much he’s aged (as have
    I) never the less a beautiful R&B song. ‘Higgs Boson Blues’ is a great name
too – the so-called God particle.

  23. Marvelous. Anybody else think he looks a bit like Neil Diamond? (Could be
    those eyebrows).
