  2. Great idea to plant snack ready berries and veggies for the kiddos in the
garden. My kids would eat an entire garden of strawberries if I planted
them. I like the Square Foot Garden method of gardening for the pure
enjoyment of planting and harvesting, with very little or no weeding.
Gardening should be fun and not work. :) I have an entire playlist on my
channel where taught my child to use a Square Foot Garden – memories!!

  13. Such good advice about children. Living a sustainable life should be fun
    for them too. Thanks.

  14. Well done Stephen! If your kids aren’t interested in what’s growing in the
garden, bring out some creamy salad dressing to dip. This will make
vegetables more palatable until their tastes adapt to ‘fresh out of the
garden’ flavour. I have wonderful childhood memories of my mom growing
tons of zucchini and yellow beans. The smell of dill in the fall takes me
    back to my childhood!

  19. Great message in your video! It’s important to get the next generation of
gardeners excited about growing food. Working in the the garden is a good
way to bring the family together. Sugar snap peas, berries, and fruit trees
    are my kids favorite!

  20. “Snack ready”… As always, I’ve learnt yet another technical gardening
    term today. @ 2:47 Fun spoiler ;-(

  21. The good thing is that children tend to be more picky as they grow up.
If they pick up fruits and vegetables that they’re usually not eating daily
they will feel proud for picking it themselves and be more open minded
    about the taste.
if you have two kids or more, coax the bigger ones and the little one will
    copy everything he/she does.

Great video my friend! I got into gardening through spending weekends with
my dad in the garden and sowing seeds and I remember growing and eating
peas the most because of how they would grow and each year would (and still
am) excited to open the pods full of them! Have a great day :)

  23. There is a reason that actors don’t want to perform with kids and animals,
they steel the show LOL. What breed is Danger ?

  24. You’re a great dad Stephen!
