    nice but costly

  3. Here is an idea, next time you install the cloth, staple to the top of the
bed. It will also make sure it is square this way. If you then turn it
upside down, the raise beds are square and the cloth is connected to your
bed. It does not spring up, there are no holes ( unintentional). Good use
of cardboard, but you can just wet the cardboard. It will easily flatten
out and create a nice moist basis which also makes sure it is disappearing
as a nice worm feast as they love moist areas.
If you want to use less soil and fertilize your raised beds at the same
time, use leaves and cuttings from around your garden on top of the
cardboard and before you put in the soil. Bare in mind not doing it too
much due to the potential locking of nitrogen due to the breakdown process
of any woody components, long term (6M – 2YRS) it will fertilize your beds
    over time.
Overall good video :) , keep it up and all the best with your garden.

  6. Very nice. Thanks for sharing!

  7. I’m in California also. I’m curious…. Are you up North, Central or
Southern? I’m curious so I know what grows best by your vids. Thanks!

  8. very nice, congratulations…

  9. I see that you added organic fertilizer. Doesn’t the raised bed mix already
contain fertilizer? Or is it better to add?

  10. Congratulations, hoping to see many more videos of the technique and
harvests from your new raised beds

  11. how long did those beds last? Are you going to treat them at all?

  16. Very very very helpful :) but my husband an I will be using ground cloth
instead of cardboard as the weeds grow very quickly here but I found it
very educational an easy to follow as we will do a raised garden bed next
    year :) thank you
