I was born in 1959. I was a child in the sixties, a teen in the seventies and an adult in the eighties. I have seen a lot of changes to this country in my lifetime. And through it all, I have always been proud to be an American. I believe in life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Over the last fifty one years I have seen many ups and downs in my life. Some were my fault, some out of my control. But, I have never taken for granted the freedom I have as a United States citizen that allows me to go through those ups and downs in safety.
